THE PERSON

I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, and lived in England and New Zealand, before the Rose City captured my heart almost a decade ago. This is home, and this is where my heart is.

Portland is a unique and beautiful place. The scenery is sublime, the gastronomy is exceptional, and the people are loyal and proud. I can commonly be found in Gabriel Park having a picnic with my family, in
one of Portland’s funky cafes drinking a triple latte, or at one of our stadiums cheering on Portland’s own Timbers or Trailblazers!

I have been a long-standing Member of Portland’s own National Championship winning Australian Rules Football Team- the Portland Steelheads (men) and Sockeyes (women). I invite you to come on down and try ‘footy’- the National Sport of Australia, and the greatest game on earth!

As a husband, and father of two girls (one two-legged, one four-legged),
I believe that there is no city that is more idyllic to raise your family than Portland. I love learning about the local history of the area, I love exploring the local neighborhoods, I love being an active member of the community, and I am always proud to call it home.
